Organizational culture refers to the shared values, beliefs, norms, and practices that shape how employees interact, make decisions, and approach their work within a company. It encompasses the unwritten rules and behaviours that define the work environment and influence the overall atmosphere of the organization. A strong organizational culture fosters a sense of belonging and alignment among employees, drives engagement and productivity, and impacts the company’s success and reputation. It is shaped by leadership, traditions, and collective experiences, and it plays a crucial role in guiding behaviour and shaping the organization’s identity.
Each organization should have a good organizational culture to work. I had That kind of organizational culture in Sampath Bank for last 20 years which is my experience in Sampath Bank. If there was not good culture, I can’t work in same organization over 20 years.
